According to Pulpaper News, “Zanders explained it was unable to fully compensate for the effects of this challenging situation despite its increased operating profitability and fundamentally good positioning.”
These challenges in the market have spread across the supply chain and limited the label paper grades available to UK beverage producers. Labelling quality and consistency has been impacted for many companies, in particularly spirits producers using metallised papers in heavier grammages.
